JFPS Connector Purpose To introduce the JFPS wiretoboard
JFPS Connector Purpose: • To introduce the JFPS wire-to-board, crimp style connector from JST. Objectives: • Illustrate the intended application. • Present the individual components of the JFPS Series. • Review the application crimp tooling. Content: • 11 Pages
JFPS Connector Wire-to-Board Many applications require a connector system for wire-to-board connections that incorporates a “secure locking feature. The JFPS Series, crimp-style connector system is offered in a wire-to-board , 8. 8 mm (. 346”) pitch, molded in a Ro. HS compliant 94 V-0 material. Headers and housings incorporate polarization, keying, and secure locking features and is designed to prevent contact stubbing / back-out when mated. Rating is 35 A (using 10 AWG) at 600 V AC/DC. The positive locking system is designed to fit inside the envelope of the header making it possible to stack the headers close together and still be able to release the positive lock. Pcb mounted headers are available in “top” entry configuration. The series has an operating temperature range of -40 C to +105 C including temperature rise when applying an electrical current. The series is offered in 2 & 3 circuit sizes.
