Email from Pastor Ting Loong in Kathmandu, April 27, 2015 The earthquake struck after we had finished our church service on Saturday, and the brothers and sisters were going home. As I exited the main door, it struck. Everyone panicked because the earth shook violently for 15 to 30 seconds. The buildings and trees were swaying and moving violently. By Yahweh’s grace the building did not collapse. Christine was inside talking to a sister when the earthquake struck; she had to rush out. When it subsided we ran to open space. All our church brothers and sisters are well. None was injured. Unfortunately some other churches suffered great loss. One church lost half its members as the building collapsed while they were worshipping. A sister from our church lost her sister and six other relatives.
