J-Ess Tutorial – Employee Reimbursements Page Use J-Ess to track your JMU employee reimbursements. In the sample data below, our employee, “Duke Dog, ” has 21 reimbursements for JMU-related expenses. We can view the first 15 in this screen below. Each column heading, such as “Payment Date” can be sorted by clicking on the column name. Employee Reimbursement 4

J-Ess Tutorial – View All To view reimbursements 16 -21, click View All from the blue menu bar to see all of them at a glance. To return back to the first 15, click View 15. Employee Reimbursement 5

J-Ess Tutorial – Download/Save Reimbursement History Duke Dog may want to save this list of reimbursements for a calendar year to view during tax time. Click on the Excel Download button from the blue menu bar on the main page. Duke Dog can open or save the document. Employee Reimbursement 6

J-Ess Tutorial – Print Reimbursement History To print the list of reimbursements, Duke Dog could print the downloaded Excel document by clicking the Printer icon from Excel. This document prints as any other Excel document would. Employee Reimbursement 7

J-Ess Tutorial – Calendar Year On January 31 st of every year, Duke Dog’s reimbursements for the previous year will be removed from J-Ess. In the example below, his 2008 reimbursements were removed January 31, 2009. If he wants a record of those 2008 reimbursements, he should download the list, as shown in the previous slide, prior to the removal date. Employee Reimbursement 8
