Bio Jared Leto was born December 26, 1971 in Bossier City, Louisiana. In an interview he said, “I was raised around a lot of artists, musicians, photographers, painters and people that were in theater. “ His family celebrated creative experience and expression. Leto briefly dropped out in 10 th grade but decided to return and focus on his education at the private Emerson Preperatory School but graduated from Flint Hill High school.
