STACKING PUZZLE � Form groups of six people � Layout three note cards; one on the left, one in the middle, and one on the right � Count off 1 thru 6 with your group then each person writes that number on the back of their hand � Now stack your hand that is marked on top of each other, with 6 on the bottom up to 1 on the top on the card on the left
STACKING PUZZLE CONTINUED � Each group is to restack your numbered hands in the exact same order using only these moves: -Move only one hand at a time -Move a hand onto another hand or onto an empty note card -Move only the top hand on a stack -Never move a hand on top of a lower numbered hand 12 minutes

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER � Form a group of 3 -4 people and discuss the following questions:
STRATEGIC THINKING � How central is strategic thinking to being a transformational leader? � Will you need strategic thinking skills to successfully complete the transformational change project? � 6 minutes
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE STRATEGIC THINKER? A. Natural intuition B. Knowing the core tools and how to implement them C. Tremendous knowledge of your field of work D. Natural analytical skills E. At least 10 years of experience leading strategic efforts

CHANGE STARTS WITH US
A MATTER OF CHOICE On paper or your laptop number 1 -3 � Identify 3 things you feel you cannot accomplish with your intended TCP, start the sentence with “I can’t” � Now re-write those sentences but start them with “I won’t” � See the difference in perception? Is there a narrator in your mind leading you to say “I can’t”? � Now re-write the sentences and start them with “I will”. Identify one thing you can do to impact the thing you perceive is holding back the TCP effort. � Discuss with partner (10 minutes) �
