INTRODUCTION • Islamic management – integrated activities of thinking, planning, organizing, leading and controlling, interconnected with decisions, involving the use of resources - human, financial, time, information, and physical, with the objectives of attaining the goals of Maqasid al-Shariah, by means of effective and efficient methods. • Principles of Islamic Management – Call for Islam (Da’wah), leadership ( Al-Qiyadah), responsibility ( Mas’uliyyah), sharing/meeting (Al-Shura), honesty (Al-Amanah), transparent (Al-Syafallah), cooperation (At-taawun), improvement (Tahassin) and public interest (Musalih Al. Management and lower level employees work together and try to keep arguments to a minimum. Teamwork involves cooperation among workers. This cooperation is usually for the sake of a common goal that the entire team is working toward. Teamwork requires that all workers contribute their fair share to the workload so that the company can accomplish its goals in a timely and satisfactory manner.

CONCEPT of cooperation COOPERATION Ø Al- taawun, like all other Quranic concepts is incredibly rich in scope so as to defy translation into a single word. Ø It may be described as cooperation towards mutual benefit or the facilitation of each other in any positive. Ø Teamwork in the workplace involves cooperation among workers. This cooperation is usually for the sake of a common goal that the entire team is working toward

Concept of improvement IMPROVEMENT Ø continuous improvement forms the foundation for the concept of lean manufacturing. Ø To encourage the kaizen attitude, organizations require a major change in corporate culture Ø one that admits problems, encourages a collaborative attitude to solving these problems, delegates responsibility and promotes continuous training in skills and development attitudes.

THEORY Shaykh Abdul al- Azeez ibn Baaz said : Ø The reality of which is cooperation in righteousness and piety, and mutual support, love, sincerity, and urging one another to follow the truth and be steadfast and patient. Kaizen said : Ø Continuous improvement requires that once an opportunity for improvement is identified, it is prioritized and resources are allocated to instigate change.

APPLICATION Ø These business applications are used to increase productivity, to measure productivity and to perform business functions accurately. Ø Some business applications are interactive. Ø Some business applications run in batch mode

Conclusion • Cooperation can happen where resources adequate for both parties exist or are created by their interaction. • Cooperation need in workplace and team works. • Besides that, with improvement an organization can meet goals, profits and good image for the company. It refers to achieve vision & mission of the organization.

• For continuous improvement to be successful, the organization must learn from past experience and translate this learning into improved performance. • In order for continuous improvement to become part of a company’s culture, success must be recognized and rewarded.
