5 Pillars of Islam � Faith (Imam) – “There is none worthy of worship except God and Muhammad is the messenger of God” � Prayer (Salah) – Pray 5 times a day toward Mecca � Giving of Alms (Zakah) – Giving for charity at least 1/40 of one’s earnings � Fasting (Sawm) – During month of Ramadan from sun up til sun down � Pilgrimage (Hajj) – Physically and financially able to make the journey to Mecca
