Links Administration Tool – General Information • In 2008, Thomson Reuters will release the first version of its Links Administration Tool for the ISI Web of Knowledge. • The Links Administration Tool gives authorized administrators: – Ability to add, modify and delete electronic full text by title, provider or package; – Real-time updating of changes. • Changes will be immediately transferred to all your Web of Knowledge products. • The Tool is both optional and free. 2
Step 1: Register Step 1 - Register if you haven’t already done so. 3
Step 2: Contact Thomson Reuters • Contact Jeff Lang (Jeff. Lang@thomsonreuters. com) to let him know you would like to be made the Links Administrator. • Provide your name and e-mail address. • You will be notified by email when your account has been activated. 4
Accessing Links Administration • After your account has been activated, the Links Administrator can sign into the Web of Knowledge. The Links Administration tool will be available in the Administrative Tools section. 5

Search for Journals -Truncation enabled - Not case sensitive 10
View/Add/Remove Journals Highlighting indicates journal is in your Links Journal Set. “P” symbol indicates journal is part of a package. Start Date is earliest electronic issue available from Cross. Ref 11
Journals by Provider and Journals by Package - Shows all journal providers included in TS products -If you activate links for journals not in your library’s collection, dead links will appear in Web of Knowledge products for articles in those journals. Enabling Package Offerings activates every journal in the group. Individual titles cannot be deleted. 12
