Isaiah chapter 9 • • • The humbled tribes will be lifted up (v 1 -5). Out of Galilee will come the child (v 2 -6). This child will reign by God’s power (v 6 -7). Ephraim’s pride is still a problem (v 8 -12). Even after God punishes the leaders they still won’t listen (v 13 -17). • God’s anger will continue until it has accomplished what He set out to (v 18 -21).
Isaiah 9: 6 -7 • All the arrogance in the world is punished. • God has a plan to raise up the humble. • All the government rests on Him. • The zeal of God will accomplish it.
