The aim of the foundation is to assist the people discover the hidden potential within them that might have been unknown to them due to social ills such as poverty, violence, teenage pregnancy, rejection, broken backgrounds, abuse, addictions, lawlessness and ignorance. We are raising up a generation that will make a difference now and in the future.

She has lived a life even more did not live long enough to tell the tale. Her life’s experiences inspired her to start the foundation and assist those who are grappling with the ravages of drug abuse, or addiction and alienation from society because she knows how it feels. As a teenager Tikva was addicted to crack cocaine, ecstasy, Thaiwhite, weed, nicotine and alcohol. She lived a life on the fast lane of self-destruction and on a highway to nowhere which is the case with many young people today. There a lot of drug addicts out there who are hopeless and do not know to come out of the habit. Tikva. Hope Foundation sends a clear message of hope from hopelessness. Amongst her other engagements Tikva writes motivational blogs and articles. She is not just a builder, a pioneer, or just a barrier breaker in her generation but a focused, determined and unstoppable love practitioner who gives hope to the hopeless.

Hope Foundation enhances processes that lead to reflection for purposes of transformation and vocational rehabilitation through games and applied art processes. We achieve this through thoroughly thought out and well crafted processes that speak to the personal and community challenges of individuals, provoking reflections that place them on a space of transformation.

OBJECTIVES To assist idle youth, youth drop-outs and ex-convicts get scholarship, employment/volunteering services To facilitate their reintegration into a normative society thus making them productive citizens To work in collaboration with other social welfare and education organisations To provide counselling and referral service to the broken, wounded, rejected and written off individuals by society To enhance the holistic person that has been under the grip of fear by instilling hope into their lives and making them realize the greatness locked up within them To help them identify the rare treasure that they were born with which is their purpose in life To bridge the gap that is there in the world at large by empowering the underprivileged through entrepreneurial and attitude training Challenging the status quo by creating a footprint that will serve to train individuals on social intelligence which will be required for the individual’s personal sustainability in this complex world.

PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES Individual and group Counselling Career Guidance Seminars and Workshops (Young women and Youth) Conferences Personal Development and support: amongst other things the foundation has empowered a female ex-convict who is a single mother of 3 children by sponsoring her with business stock for her daily income. Through this initiative the lady has now been reintegrated into her community, has regained her self-worth and has been employed by a local day care centre in just less than two months of her release. Partnered with Leeuwkop Prison to host a soccer tournament for inmates.
