Isaiah 6 Verse 1 says, “In the year king Uzziah died…”
Isaiah 6 What will happen to the nation when the king dies? What will keep Isaiah committed to such a really difficult task? What would Isaiah need to know about God in order to keep to this difficult task?
Isaiah 6 What did God want to say to Isaiah? What does God want to say to you and me today in the midst of difficulty, change and uncertainty?
The King is Dead Isaiah 6: 1 -8
Isaiah 6: 1 -8 God wanted Isaiah to see 4 things: 1. To see God’s Glory
To see God’s Glory! Isaiah saw the Lord High and exalted The train of His robe filled the Temple. Immanence He is present, close, involved in our world.
To see God’s Glory! Is the real king really dead?
To see God’s Glory!
To see God’s Glory!
To see God’s Glory! We will never be the people God wants us to be and we will never do what God wants us to do unless you and I catch something of this glimpse that Isaiah did, of just how glorious God really is!! He is great, and He is glorious!
To see God’s Glory! “Holy, holy, is the Lord Almighty, the whole earth is full of His glory”.
To see God’s Glory! Holy “Separated or set apart” “Sinless or pure”
To see God’s Glory! God is alive and seated on the throne He is also near, present, close and involved in our lives and world. God sits on the throne and is glorious God is holy God is powerful and present!
