Digital Classroom Rules
FYI NBEC students are not allowed on any other SDOC School Rules & Resource s campus. Bullying, even on the digital platform, will not be tolerated at New Beginnings and must always be reported to the Guidance Counselor or teacher. Discipline Continuous violation of digital classroom rules could result in removal from the platform. Suspension, Expulsion Student Monitoring Online viewing of grades and attendance via FOCUS.
Transition Requirements Reason for placement at New Beginnings/ District Transitio n Directive Embracing 4 A's (Honor Roll Student) Transition Portfolio Minimum of one semester or up to two school years. Transitions may occur mid-year and at the end of the school year.
Uniform All students must follow NBEC Dress Code Policy (Next Slide). Shoe Policy Dress Code Policy All students must wear slip on shoes. All shoes must have a back, and must be either black or white. No shoe laces, buckles or Velcro allowed. School ID Cards must be visibly worn at all times. Cannot be defaced or altered. (Caution: Perfume or Cologne will damage cards. ) Must be replaced, if lost, at a cost of $5. 00. Violating Dress Code Disciplinary action given to students in violation of the dress code.
All students MUST wear a face mask/covering at ALL times (Black, White, or Light Blue colors ONLY). Students must wear a light blue polo at all times. Solid black or white undershirts (long or short sleeve) Undergarments must be worn Dress Code Policy continued. . . Student must wear ALL BLACK pants. (NO- Cargo, Denim Jeans, Shorts, Joggers, or Skinny Styles allowed!) Solid black belt must be worn at all times. Shoes must adhere to Shoe Policy. ID badges must adhere to policy. Tattoos must always be covered. Nail Color and Hair Color must be neutral. Hair Cut & Styles must be natural. NO carvings, NO eyebrow slashes. No watches/Jewelry may be worn with restrictions. No jackets permitted EXCEPT during seasons designated by administration.
