IRP Update IFTA Annual Business Meeting – August 13, 2020 • Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your meeting today. • Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic. • A lot of adjustments have been made to continue to provide services and keep our respective memberships engaged. • Thank you for all your efforts.

IRP Update IFTA Annual Business Meeting – August 13, 2020 • Update on meetings: • As most are aware, we had to cancel the 2020 IRP Annual Meeting which was planned for May. • We have hosted various membership meetings and have more coming to be set up in the near future as we continue our efforts to keep the membership engaged and informed. • Very happy to say, our committees have continued to meet and function fairly much as normal. • The 2020 IRP/IFTA Managers and LE Workshop will be held virtually. The plans are in the works and we will be putting out information very soon. • At this time, we are unsure on the status of future meetings.

IRP Meetings • Update on meetings: • To accommodate our efforts to continue to provide forums or meetings for discussions on important topics within the IRP and motor carrier services community, we are continuing to experiment with different products, platforms and methods to ensure quality products that are beneficial to the membership. • We will continue to work on our partnership with IFTA to ensure we can bring quality and productive programs for our respective memberships.

IRP Clearinghouse • Funds that pass through the IRP CH:

Education and Training • Learning Management System - LMS • Through a lot of evaluation and effort by both organizations, we are partnering together to bring the IFTA and IRP memberships a new innovative education and training process through a learning management system. • This will allow us to provide online interactive training on both programs as well as other topics and issues as we move forward. • Doing this together gives us an opportunity to provide a similar system for both IFTA and IRP which we feel will be beneficial, especially to those jurisdictions that administer both programs within their agency. • Very close and hope to have announcements and information on the new program very soon.

IRP Open Ballots • Ballot 434 – Uploading Data to the Repository • Will require Member Jurisdictions to upload required data at a minimum of once per day. • Required data would include current cab card requirements. Additional data elements would include “status”. • This ballot does not eliminate the requirement to present at roadside either a cab card or electronic image of a cab card. • Ballot 435 – Composition of IRP Board of Directors • Change current rotating position to an at-large position

IRP Data Repository Project • Project to create a new data repository which will: Host an updated, modernized and enhanced IRP Clearinghouse system Provide for enhanced reporting to include ad hoc reporting capabilities Provide an enhanced audit exchange tool Support the Electronic Verification of Operating Credentials (EVOC) Many other possible opportunities such as an HVUT verification process and a uniform Centralized IRP Fee Calculator • Improved waiver and extension process • Etc. • • • Currently in the final stages of selection of a vendor and beginning development.

Waivers and Extensions • Thank you to all those that provided waiver and extension notices during this COVID-19 pandemic. • Both IRP and IFTA have partnered with others of our partners to try to keep the information as up to date as possible. • Hope to work with all our partners to improve the process in the future.

Thank you! • Please stay safe out there! • Look forward to our next opportunity to meet, hopefully in person! Tim Adams CEO IRP, Inc. tadams@irpinc. org (502) 845 -0398
