Underground vs mainstream Before the Iphone was released the mobile phone market was dominated by one company “Nokia” who used to make phones with small screens and a lot of buttons which was the standard that everybody went by since the first cellular phone in the 70’s. Nokia was the mainstream for a long time most of my childhood but nowadays anybody under the age 14 maybe wouldn’t know who Nokia was because they grew up after the Iphone revolution from underground to mainstream which has affected the phone design ever since now a days you would very rarely see a phone with buttons.

Bauhaus Influence on Iphone Jobs was obsessed with the bauhaus cleanes and simplicity in design which he saw in the buildings, living suites, sans-serif font typography and furniture on the Aspen Institute campus which he attended in June 1981. “Herbert Bayer” He wanted to create his design in black like he saw in the sony design but he didn’t want the mechanical look to it instead he wanted it very simple and clean.

Photography never easier Apple kept improving there Iphone camera until they were able to create phones that could act as semi professional camera that would give you the ability to get great quality photography on the go. Iphone realise the bauhaus philosophy I believe that the Iphone is the realisation of the bauhaus philosophy in modern days. Not just the Iphone but every product that apple makes resembles all the characteristics of the bauhaus, it is as the author of the book “Ibauhaus” wrote “the perfect Bauhaus design. ”

Iphone influence on the electronics industry I believe after the Iphone came out company’s started to use the same design methods as apple to create their products, they started leaning more toward simplicity and clarity which is still how most electronics are designed to date.
