What is Yoga? The word yoga means “Union or Yoke together" in the language of ancient India. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. Yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility

What Type of Yoga Hatha Yoga Uses bodily postures breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

Shavasana/Savasana 1. Come to lie down on the back. (Corpse Position) 2. Let the feet fall out to either side. 3. Bring the arms alongside the body, but slightly separated from the body, and turn the palms to face upwards. 4. Relax the whole body, including the face. Let the body feel heavy. 5.
