What is Social History? Definition (Wikipedia): The history of ordinary people. (Merriam Webster) history

What is Social History? Definition (Wikipedia): The history of ordinary people. (Merriam Webster) history that concentrates upon the social, economic, and cultural institutions of a people. (University of London): Social history is sometimes described as the 'history of the people', or 'history from below' (Ms. Greenberg) The study of class, gender, and ordinary life during different time periods. Social history shows us how larger events and trends (“history from above”) changes –or does not change – the life of ordinary people.
