Sisu system Sisu is a new student information system (SIS) for managing student data and the lifecycle of university studies from study planning to graduation. Sisu is developed in collaboration between six Finnish universities, and the system provider is Funidata Oy. The owners and customers of the company include the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, the University of Jyväskylä, LUT University, Hanken School of Economics and Tampere University. In JYU, Sisu is implemented in stages, and new features will be introduced during 2021 and 2022 (eg. study register master, graduation process and open university processes). The features already in use are also constantly developed further. Sisu universities and Funidata are working together with end-users to improve the overall user experience, however, there are still a few known usability and accessibility issues with Sisu.
