What is MRV • MRV refers to activities allowing to track progress and steer towards climate change related targets • The term MRV was coined in Bali (COP 13, 2007), bringing together all aspects pertaining to transparency under the climate regime. • It includes a) Measurement (M): Data collection and assessment b) Reporting (R): National Communications and BURs c) Verification (V): International Consultation and Assessment (ICA)
