SPRINGBOARD MISSION • The Springboard mission is to provide a setting where industry can advance national information sharing and interoperability standards for justice, public safety, homeland security and related domains. The program promotes information sharing via the inspection and testing of standards‐based interoperability specifications.
SPRINGBOARD PROCESS Springboard Program Interoperability Specifications Development • Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) • SDO Approved Specifications Phase A: Selection & Inspection Phase B: Interoperability Testing Phase C: Conformance Certification Evaluation Testing Certification • Selection of Initiative Team • Selection of Interoperability Specification • Evaluation & Assessment: Conformance Requirements • Creation & deployment of Test Harness • Level 1 Testing • Level 2 Testing • Conformance & Publication • Governance of Process and Stewardship of Test Harness Feedback Development of Standards‐Based Interoperability Solutions Foundational Standards & Models
