RESPONSE PROCEDURE TO THE PERIOD OF EARTHQUAKE DURING PANDEMIC (CONSIDERING ALL EMPLOYEES ARE WEARING FACEMASK/FACESHIELD) During the ground shaking 1. Stay Calm 2. ERT members should advise everybody to "dock, cover and hold" under a sturdy piece of furniture sufficiently strong to hold falling debris. Strong tables have been proven to provide immediate safety. (Employee should observe social distancing from one another) 3. Do not attempt to run down the building or rush out of the street for you might not have enough time to do so. The ERT Evacuation Team Members shall be guide or lead their colleagues to the designated evacuation area. 4. Stay away from the glass panes, and other objects and electrical wires. 5. If outdoors, stay away from the building, walls and other high structures.

RESPONSE PROCEDURE TO THE PERIOD OF EARTHQUAKE DURING PANDEMIC (CONSIDERING ALL EMPLOYEES ARE WEARING FACEMASK/FACESHIELD) After the Ground Shaking 1. Slowly get out from the place where you took cover and observe one-meter distance from one another. The aftershocks could be more damaging. 2. Follow the instructions of the members of the Evacuation Team. 3. Do not rush to exit, get out calmly and in an orderly manner and proceed to the designated evacuation area. 4. Do not use elevators, use the stairs. 5. Check for any possible injuries & sanitized yourself.

DRILL PROCEDURE BEFORE the Drill 1. Inform the office regarding the date and time of the drill (Communication Team); 2. How to correctly perform Drop, Cover, and Hold On: • Wherever you are, Drop to the floor (to prevent falling), make yourself as small target as possible, and protect your head, neck and chest by taking cover under a sturdy desk or table or near an interior wall, covering your head with your hands and arms.

DRILL PROCEDURE DURING the Drill 1. Public announcement (PA) system, alarms, or verbal direction (ER Team): • Announce that the earthquake drill has begun and to Drop, Cover, and Hold On; • Play the audio recording on your PA or play it on a computer in each office; and • Suggest that while dropping under a sturdy desk or table, empployees should look around at what would be falling on them in a real earthquake; these items could be secured or moved after the drill. 2. If not using audio device for sound effects, then after at least one minute, announce that the shaking is over (ER Team).

DRILL PROCEDURE DURING the Drill 3. During a real earthquake aftershocks may occur. If an aftershock occurs, while you are exiting, Drop, Cover, and Hold On until the shaking stops. 4. When the shaking has stopped (or when the all clear bell rings) wait for the announcement of the Evacuation Team. Before you exit your room take ten seconds to look around, make a mental note of damage and dangers, check to see if any employees are injured. 5. Take your office emergency kits. Make sure these stay with the person actually escorting the employees to the Emergency Assembly Area (First Aid Team).

DRILL PROCEDURE DURING the Drill 6. Use the BUDDY SYSTEM. Use the suggested routes on your evacuation map or alternate route if yours is blocked or unsafe. Everyone is to stay together and to quickly and quietly evacuate following the evacuation rules. Do NOT use elevators. 7. Make your lane following the Evacuation Team in the Emergency Assembly Area. 8. Check every employee’s attendance or make a roll call. 9. Return to the office building if the Emergency Marshall declared it is safe to return.

DRILL PROCEDURE AFTER the Drill 1. Debrief together in your staff meetings. Ask for feedback on how the drill went. 2. Review your Office Disaster Preparedness Plan and schedule your next earthquake drill. 3. Share photos and stories.

THANK YOU!
