+ Overview of the Co-Planning Process Before the Meeting • The Clinical Teacher gathers key information about upcoming curriculum projects and activities, other core content, and brings this material to the meeting. • The intern brings potential ideas for teaching the content. • Co-teachers review student data to help them identify student learning needs.

Using student data, co-teachers discuss the following: • What upcoming learning topics will present challenges for the students? • How could students be grouped to differentiate for readiness? • Which co-teaching strategies should be utilized to teach for understanding? • Determine specific responsibilities of each co-teacher for each co-taught lesson.
