Introduction to Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) -The APT is an inter-governmental Regional Telecommunications Organization. -It deals with various aspects of telecommunications and is responsible for the development of a Regional Position for WRCs for the ASIA/PAC Region. -The APT convenes several Conference Preparatory Group (APG) Meetings for WRCs and extends invitation to the Telecommunication Regulatory Authorities in the ASIA/PAC region and Regional and International Organizations. -At such meetings, representative from civil aviation administrations are required to be included in the national delegation to provide necessary support to the ICAO Position.

Introduction to Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) -The 1 Meeting of APT – RPG Conference Preparatory st Group (APG) was held in Bangkok , Thailand, 11 to 12 November 2003 ; The meeting was attended by 136 participants. -The meeting reviewed the APG activities for WRC-03 and results achieved at the conference; -The meeting also, established the APG new structure and plan for the preparatory work for WRC-07: - http: //www. aptsec. org/Program/APG/papg. html -The 2 nd Meeting of APG will be held in Bangkok 28 Feb – 3 rd March 05
