INTRODUCTION The South African Furniture Initiative “SAFI” was created as a joint initiative of Industry, Labour and Government for the benefit of all the stakeholders with the common interest of promoting employment growth, value addition and transformation across the furniture value chain.
SAFI OBJECTIVES: • Facilitate Support Services Provide Market Intelligence Information • Penetrate Domestic and International Markets • Facilitate Supply Chain Optimisation • Promote Effective Manufacturing And Design These elements will grow sector employment and value addition, and facilitate positive industry transformation.
