v. When harmful substances contaminate the environment it is called environment pollution v. Pollution refers to the very bad condition in environment in terms of quantity and quality.
There are many types of pollution such as air pollution, water pollution, sound pollution etc.
Atmosphere is the life blanket of the earth. It is, therefore, essential that we know more about the atmosphere and the ways in which it is polluted.
Environment pollution has become a buzzword of these days. With the advancement of civilization and industrial sectors, environment pollution has increased to a great extent. Smokes from mills and factories, high proportion of undesirable gases, motor vehicles, air plane and domestic fuels pollute air. Huge quantities of garbage and industrial wastes pollute soil and water.
The effect of pollution is atomic on human health, animal, plant and the atmosphere as a whole
By using natural gases like lpg autos, we can avoid air pollution. We should use less amount of fuel for vehicles.
Water is God’s valuable gift. About 40% of deaths worldwide are caused by water pollution. Water pollution is caused by organic and inorganic industrial wastes affluent discharge into rivers. Noise also causes anxiety stress reaction and fright.
v. By drinking polluted water people suffer from various diseases like cholera, typhoid etc. People should not use river water for washing cloths, utensil and bathing animal in it. To meet water requirement, people can collect rainwater. On the other hand, noise can be defined as unwanted sound which is not only results in irritation anger but also cause of losing of power of hearing. We get noise from traffic, air, construction civil engineer works, industries and from other sources.
v. People suffer from high blood pressure for noise pollution. Government should ensure new machines that should be noise proof. Airport must be away from residential area. The sound horn symbol is to be in school roads. Sound affects our ears so loud noise should be avoided.
Above all, public awareness should be increased to protect our environment from pollution.
