Email should have the following information – Location/p-code/GPS coordinates – Key informant/Shaweesh name & number – Brief description of the case/issue referred – If there’s a suspected outbreak, fire • What • # of cases

Follow-up WASH/Shelter Unit will follow up until that referral is completed and the case is closed.

Who to refer to? IAMP (interagency mapping platform) is the platform where we could find all sort of information concerning informal settlements.

Why do we refer? • Protection • To prevent a serious outbreak • Key surveillance tool to prevent possible outbreaks of WASH related diseases • Improve the life of refugees • To hold partners accountable in their activities
When to refer? • IMMEDIATELY! • It could stop something small becoming something big we can’t contain!
