Audience and Reseach Our intended audience is our peers and because the genre is crime. We would be rating it to over 18. We decided to use Upton Park Market because of its easy access plus it is also a fruit market and quite diverse. We were inspired by the final product of Andrew Prokos, who makes use of post production and his images are very colourful, sharp and detailed. Xyza Bacani uses black and white tones in all her images.

Content As stated our genre is crime and within this, our series of images follows two people; One a thief, the other is not and concludes with the thief losing his desired object. This is the basic story of our project, but it could also be said that it addresses a bigger issue. Crime is an extremely popular genre at present, for example , Nordic Noir series. Moral issues of not stealing from the market. - however leads to people starving.

Images Seventh Image: Whilst walking away Shaba was stopped by a passer by who saw him and asked for it to be returned. In the final image, we took the image from the bottom, incorporating the light and darkness. Which we believed explains how one person was moving towards the light and the other stuck in darkness and crime.

Form As it was crime, we thought tone would be very important to emphasis the difference between light and dark. We wanted to use texture to deliberately draw the audiences’ eye to what was being stolen. We decided that shape would be important to connect the buyer to the purchase and the thief to his desired object.

Form Camera angels: Finding the right angle was quite a challenge as this was the first time taking part in such project. But we realised how important the angles of a camera is when taking shots. We had some shots which we didn’t make use of because the angles of which it was taken was not good enough. The angles in which pictures are taking can say mean a lot in a picture. For example, the Second image and the angle of the camera helps to emphasis on what his intentions were.

Approaches and Ideas During this process, we were constantly thinking of the right technique to apply to the story. TONE was very important in other to emphasis the differences between light and darkness. TEXTURE is used here to grab the audience attention to what is being stolen. Spot Colour: We used the spot colour to add more details and sharpness to the pictures. This was used to also build the story, so that the pictures speaks for itself without narrating it.

Spot Colour/Font We utilised spot colour in our series of images to emphasise thief's desire. The bright colours were used to show what the thief desired. We chose red to keep with theme of apples (the object being stolen). We chose Krungthep because we wanted something in keeping with the genre of crime and believe this font depicts this.

Evaluation The market worked really well because it wasn’t too busy. This worked in our favour because we had more room to shot and did not cause objections to the shoppers, but on the other hand the market was a flaw as the lighting in the place was sometimes too harsh. Additionally, the narrative flows really well, and concludes however, a way we could have improved it is by making the ending more exiting or shooting at a different time of day.
