What is Book. Switch? Book. Switch is a platform for the community to exchange books. Allow users to give away books in exchange of a new book Allow users to connect with others and recognize their common interests Allow users to find obsolete or rare books

USE R Scope Trade Upload Create Connect Users gain points by uploading books as points Users are able to upload books to their own digital library Users are able to create their own virtual books to read online Users are able to review and comments other users profile

USE R Limitations Unable to trade if insufficient amount of points System only accepts online banking transactions Without the verification of the admin, the book would not be publicized

Problem Statement

To provide more option on selling and trading To provide users to create and share virtual books To provide users the ability to interact with other users There are not a lot of applications in the industry that allows user to trade books Most applications does not have the feature to create and share a book Some trading application does not provide a follow or ‘friend’ feature

System Features

USE R Features Register, login and logout into and out the system Ability to change their user information Ability to view their own or other user profiles Ability to reset their password if forgotten Ability to change user password

USE R Features Upload books and book information View, edit and delete the information of the book Update a reference or tracking number to a book Create, update, delete, share and read virtual books Add and delete a book in wishlist

USE R Features Send a friend request and manage friends list Leave a comment or message to other users Search books by title, ISBN, author and genre of book Search users from the community section Add and delete books from the shopping cart

USE R Features Able to checkout and write shipping information Write payment information and choose payment information Ability to place and complete an order View all transaction history Able to leave a message or inquiries to the admins

ADMIN Features Request membership and log in into the system Add, update and remove checklist that will display in dashboard View brief statistics of users, number of books and orders View, reply, delete and search the inquiries sent by users View and search for books uploaded

ADMIN Features Modify the status of each book from offline to online View and edit of the information of book View, edit, add and search book categories View, update tracking, search and print orders View and search users, change points of users accordingly
