Background of Interventions What areas are we trying to cover with this work? The future of recording Interventions in SIMS will span across any area where schools offer extra activities for pupils/students above and beyond normal teaching Some of these areas that we are hoping to link are: SEN, G&T, Pupil Premium

Themes Having an area to define themes for interventions • Examples of themes could be: improve lateness, engage students in maths, pupil premium support, improve behaviour etc. • Themes can have whole school objectives attached to them • Each theme can have multiple interventions attached

It will involve free meals as well as places to do homework and other educational activities. Two adults are required to supervise, set up and clear up.
