INTERSECTION AND INTERCESSION Part Two: IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!

Ecclesiastes 3: 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I Corinthians 6: 17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.

Ephesians 2: 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

To a great degree, our soul-prosperity (“success”* as a Christian) depends on how we each deal with TIME! *How we manifest Christ in each of our own unique ways…

BUT WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE REALLY BOTH!

YOU ARE POSITIONED BOTH IN TIME AND THROUGH TIME—at the intersection! HE IS THE LORD OF ALL TIME AND SPACE—BOTH ABOVE IT AND INTERSECTING WITH IT! YOU GET TO PARTICIPATE IN THAT RULERSHIP!!!

Our consciousness was messed up with regard to time when Adam disconnected spiritually from God! Time (and space) became problematic in the garden! (Perceptions disconnected from source are always problematic!)

Redemption brings us back to UNION with Christ and therefore LIFE in two realms, not just one! No more separation or desperation! Hooked up to the eternal NOW at the intersection of “in time” and “through time”!

“YOU’VE GOT TO GET YOURSELF TOGETHER; YOU’VE BEEN STUCK IN A MOMENT AND YOU CAN’T GET OUT OF IT…. DON’T SAY THAT LATER WOULD BE BETTER; YOU’VE GOT YOURSELF STUCK IN A MOMENT AND YOU CAN’T GET OUT OF IT…. ” (U 2) Without Jesus, this is pretty much normal… With Him, this is no longer your lot in life…

RELATIVITY…. And the realm of the Spirit (our new home) have a lot in common….

A mind-blowing statement by Jesus, the meaning of which is lost if you don’t relate properly to TIME: Mark 11: 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

BUT… IT’S A SCRIPTURE FROM THE INTERSECTION!!!!! Mark 11: 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer (IN TIME), believe that you have received it (THROUGH TIME), and it will be yours (IN TIME).

Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. Faith is the reality (THROUGH TIME) of what is hoped for (IN TIME), the proof (THROUGH TIME) of what is not seen (IN TIME)… (and we could add “yet”!)

Flow State is the intersection of “in time” and “through time”--it’s like being IN THE SPIRIT!

Ezekiel was an Old Testament prophet that had a literal experience of the intersection of IN TIME and THROUGH TIME: Ezekiel 8: 3 He stretched out what looked like a hand took me by the hair of my head. Then the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and carried me in visions of God to Jerusalem…

Ezekiel 1: 21 When the creatures moved, the wheels moved; when the creatures stood still, the wheels stood still; and when the creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose alongside them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

WHAT IF…. ? ? 1. This unique “gyroscopic” vision of Ezekiel’s tells us something about LIFE IN THE SPIRIT, as it occurs around the throne--something that mere words or even pictures alone can’t convey?

WHAT IF…. ? ? 2. The inner wheel is like our general view “in time” and the outer wheel is like God’s view “through time”?

WHAT IF…. ? ? 3. The eyes all around the wheels shout the message to us that we (AND God, because we are made in His image) are HIGHLY OPTICALLY ORIENTED CREATURES!!! (What really captures us is what we SEE!)

WHAT IF…. ? ? 4. The rims FULL of eyes shout to us the CHOICE we always have to view a million possibilities in God! (Rather than fixate on our one human, limited perspective!) “All things are possible with God…” (Mark 10: 27)

WHAT IF…. ? ? 5. When you are “stuck in a moment”, you could just SPIN THE WHEEL? ? ? !!!!!

That is how “une. Xpected blessings” show up in your life! You don’t have to strain, struggle or reach for them! You don’t have to create them or “envision” them! They are REAL possibilities in God—they are just outside your “wheelhouse” if you view yourself separate from Him!!!!

Conservation of angular momentum: It’s why a gyroscope works! Total spin of a system remains the same! A gyroscope defies gravity as long as it keeps spinning!
