Introduction • After analyzing data , the next accomplishment would be inference of the data. • This gives broader meaning to the research findings. • It is a way of linking research findings with those of another study(s) • It is also to link the study with hypothesis and theory

Meaning • Is a device through which the research try to explain what has been observed by the research.

Purpose • To understand the abstract principles that works beneath the findings of the study. • To predict concrete events through theory • Explain the concepts that can serve as a guide for the future studies • To open a new intellectual adventures • To stimulate others to search for a new knowledge • To appreciate better way the findings of the research • The exploratory studies do not start with research hypothesis…in such case technically to describe hypothesis at the end of analysis.

Technique of interpretation • Generalize the findings on concepts formulated during the study. • Extraneous information if collected during the study… understand the research problem based on it. • To know the error of omission and addition…. Consult the expert after the final interpretation so that he/she would give an frank opinion. • Avoid false generalization…do not hurry in interpretation…. Conclude the right manner and accurate

Precautions in interpretation • Patience is an important key to avoid errors • See that is trust worthy and adequate to draw interpretation • See that data reflect homogeneity • Use proper statistical methods • Check computation is it done properly • Frame results within the study limitations • See the interpretation done with the interaction of initial hypothesis, empirical observation and theoretical concepts.

End • The interpretation on completing it gives an opening to write the research report.
