Aim of the project • Under the guidance of UNDP Albania and in close coordination with NAIS: – Give an overview of the current state of e-government, e-services and existing e. Government legal, organizational and technical frameworks – Define suitable architecture to support interoperability framework based on present and possible future Gov. Net structure – Defining of short term and long term solutions of authentication and authorization of users taking into consideration the utilization of ID cards and public PKI – Based on EU methodologies and standards, outline the Albanian interoperability framework – Advice and work with NAIS in order to implement a pilot project during Feasibility Study that will demonstrate the interoperability framework – Preparation of possible action plan for implementation of interoperability framework in Albania – Discuss e. Government different interoperability aspects in workshop today

Objectives • Sharing information with beneficiaries and stakholders (NAIS and IT managers of ministries) • Discussions about some concepual decisions which should be made on Albanian e. Government • Sharing experience with project team and colleagues from Albania • Using demo/pilot installation to give ideas about the possibilties and challanges • Presenting some of the international best practice examples and propose discussions about technical issues of interoperability framework
