Frame Work at NSI. Types of programmers for you to cover during your internship: • Road show to different NGO in Malaysia. Do 10 minute powerpoint on Patani issue with request for solidarity. Plan the schedule with all the Malaysian NGOs. • Do a google document of data based of all Malaysian NGO and International NGO’s who can contribute to Patani struggle. • Finalize your research topic. Please propose 3 topics PATANI IN ASEAN: A Critical Analysis of Patani Social Political Economical Impact in the Region Do a two page concept note on this topic and we will submit to your supervisor for advice.

• Propose how ASEAN Peoples Forum can be a space for Patani-W. Papua solidarity and how ASEAN Geo-Politics will effect self determination of Patani • Understand the UN system: Human Rights Council, OHCHR, UPR, Special Procedures, Treaty Bodies, Conventions, Declarations, Security Council, UN Minority Forum, UN Decolonization , All UN Bodies. UNHCR, UNICEF, UNESCO, • What is Globalization, World Bank, WTO, ADB, IMF. • Develop English Module for Human Rights. • Sharpen Report Writing Skills and Documentation of Human Rights Violations. • Organize film screening and discussions on Patani with Malaysian CSOs.

• How Patani and Papua can be in solidarity. • ISLAM and Social Justice- How Islam’s teachings can be utilized to motivate the Patani people for self determination. • Book review-Pedagogy of Oppressed( cari versi BM dan baca dan buat review) • Film Review- We will propose a film and you will do a essay or film review. • Ensure all Patani movement leaders under hight security risk to get Front Line Defender cards. • Management of North South Initiative office.
