Under-Graduate Requirements Complete: 4 -hour credit internship - graduation requirement 180 -600 -hour 16 weeks – semester 13 -14 Last internship (depends on major) hours weekly academic year Must obtain approval from the Internship Coordinator (Dr. Shaun Neitzel) prior to making plans for the internship

Graduate Requirements Complete: 4 -hour credit internship - graduation requirement 150 -300 -hour internship (depends on major) 8/16 weeks – semester 13 -14 hours weekly Online/Plus One MSES and must complete internship during Spring 2 (S 2) semester Master of Science in Recreation Administration 16 week internship Must obtain approval from the Internship Coordinator (Dr. Shaun Neitzel) prior to making plans for the internship

STEPS TO OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZED FOR-CREDIT INTERNSHIP: Review and explore potential internship opportunities from the authorized internship list Match opportunities with Career Goals Internship Section of your major’s Moodle site Note: If you wish to complete an internship at a site that has not been authorized: 1. You must obtain approval from the Internship Coordinator that the proposed site is an appropriate site AND 2. An Affiliation Agreement must be completed by the internship site and Aurora University

Obtain an Internship Review potential internship sites Contact various organizations and inquire about internship openings Complete the application process with the specified organization Interview for the position If selected for the internship, accept or decline offer
