When to use sources. When you quote something directly, put your citation directly after. Ex. "Moose are the largest of all the deer species. " (Nat. Geo, 2016) When you paraphrase, place your citation at end of paragraph or paraphrase. Ex. Did you know that moose are the largest of the deer species? (Nat. Geo, 2016) When using I information indirectly, just put the citation at the end. Ex. Even though moose are in the same family as deer, they are much bigger and have a more specific diet. (Nat. Geo, 2016) (Try to use all authors in your bibliography at least once)
