International Research Agenda • • • Research plan with a well-defined scientific or socio-economic problem and a novel and innovative approach to solving it Ensuring a leading role of the new IRAP center in the given research area (results will be important for the scientific community and for the entrepreneurs) Effective transfer of knowledge

The Leader of IRAP Center – head of the unit • Scientific excellence • Research management skills and experience • Profile similar to directors of other excellent research institutions

Strategic partner institution – excellent research center from outside Poland • Supporting the creation of the International Research Agenda • Transfer of best practice and policies in recruitment and IP management • Nominating International Scientific Committee members • Joint effort in recruitment process • Scientific co-operation & exchange • Formal agreement with the new center or a university setting up the new center

International Scientific Committee • International researchers • Solely responsible for the selection of PIs • Evaluation of the research performance of the PIs and their teams
