Purpose ICAO EUR/NAT Office Flight Plan Study Group (FPLSG) Updates the ICAO model flight plan form to: Ø Show aircraft advanced capabilities in more detail Ø Meet evolving requirements of automated ATM systems 2
Chapter 4 ICAO EUR/NAT Office 4. 4. 1 - Flight Plan Form Ø Reinforces requirement to complete form in accordance with Appendix 2 and relevant AIPs 4. 4. 2 – Submission of Flight Plan Ø Not to be submitted more than 120 hours before EOBT 3
Chapter 11 ICAO EUR/NAT Office 11. 4. 2. 2. 2 - FPL messages Ø Transmit immediately after filing of flight plan Ø More than 24 hours in advance of EOBT, insert date of departure in Item 18 11. 4. 2. 2. 4 – CHG messages Ø Provide relevant basic data when not previously received 4
