Course Description • Introduce the essential topics in multimedia application development. • concepts in hypermedia, basic techniques in multimedia application development (combination of audio, video, animation and graphics) and data storage and retrieval methods. • It also discusses multimedia computer hardware. • Exposure to the functions of current • multimedia software packages, multimedia application concepts, data manipulation, file format, media storage, memory management and configurations and screen display techniques.
