What is interactive media? internet Is the most widespread user in the media today, as you can do many things such as, playing games online, interacting with different users online, its gotten so far that you don’t even need to go shopping because you can shop online and get it delivered to your doorstep, you can gather information for different things, take online classes, listen to music etc. Things such as video games, DVD’s cell phones and internet are an integral part of our generation today because you can interact with the media. People are coming up with new ideas today and everyday to make it easy for customers to interact with the media industry, through things such as, advertising and marketing. Educational institutions are making new ways of providing an online degree. Later on in the years we might even be able to participle in shows and games, or even choose your own ending to your favorite programs, this will be very helpful to the younger generation as it can encourage them to interact with educational programs.

Before internet was created there was no interactive media, the close thing they had to that was a radio or television but that required no active participation, the only thing you can do was change the channels, nowadays you have smart TV’s where you can play Netflix, You. Tube and some even come with 3 D glasses and you can watch things on You. Tube or movies that are 3 D. The point of having interactive media is to explore what is really out there in the world and is meant to enhance a users experience. The disadvantages are things like cyber bullying, people can change information or give you the wrong information.
