Progress • Finalizing details for Sensor Fusion Research project Funding of ~$200 K – Negotiating donation of ~$1 M in computing equipment – Will deploy multi-layer fusion system in the ILS 3 Collaborative Laboratory – Primary focus is Layer 2 fusion • Database representing 4 hours of sensor event messages for a “scenario” provided by the sponsor • Goal: create AI-based algorithms to achieve Level 2 fusion across hundreds of elements (with thousands of observations) in real-time • Includes strong Visualization element – Sponsor by USArmy Battle Labs – Potential partners: SGI, Apple, USA Information Systems Engineering Command
Brute Force Fusion Research
NEXT STEPS • Finish outfitting the collaborative Lab – Complete the sensor test-bed – Demonstrate working system • Set up Brute Force Fusion project
Thank You
