INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC Welcome to Band at LCHS! Instrumental Music 10, 20, 30 is our multi-level Concert Band program. We welcome any players of wind instruments (brass and woodwind) and percussion. Previous playing experience is preferred, but you are welcome to learn an instrument if you are motivated! Our band performs in local festivals, goes on tour every other year, and plays concerts in various locations. We play a variety of music from modern to pop!

Instrumental Music 10, 20, 30 runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3: 30 - 5 pm all year, for 5 credits. We’d love to see you join the band!

Band 15 -25 -35 This instrumental course includes musical instruction delivered through a multi-level woodwind & brass band class. Students can be anywhere from complete beginner to advanced. Solo, duet, trio and small group ensemble work is encouraged. Each class will work towards developing and demonstrating musicianship skills – reading notes/rhythms and understanding musical terms that represent a variety of repertoire from different styles of music. Students will strive to model a positive attitude and willingness to practice and cooperate with the director, any guests in the classroom, and ensemble members. Being a participation class, daily attendance is required along with dedicated effort.
