Game Rules 遊戲規則 What is it? Acrostic Poem Board Game is a game to practice 4 skills (speaking, reading, writing and reading) and spelling. 藏頭詩桌遊是在遊戲中練習聽說讀寫拼字的英文 學習的法寶。 An acrostic poem is a poem which you spell each letter of the target word vertically in order to describe the word with each initial letter. 何謂藏頭詩? 每句的字首單字的第一個字母垂直 組成一個新單字。如： Poems are as beautiful as songs. Oh, everyone was a born poet if he dares to try his. Enjoy creating your own acrostic poems with initial letters. Make acrostic poems now and have fun with us. 本詩每句字首單字分別為POEM，故新單字 (acrostic word)為POEM。

Object of the Game 遊戲目的 The aim of the game is to practice 4 skills and spelling. The team work is expected during the game. Besides, the players are expected to develop the habit of helping others in the game, learn how to assign different tasks according to their strength before the game and take part in the game attentively during the process of having fun. 遊戲目的是練習英文的四大技能(聽說讀寫)及拼 字。在遊戲中發揮團隊分 合作。此外，玩家在 遊戲中能培養助人助己的好習慣、學習在遊戲前 根據專長分 合作、在玩樂過程中培養積極負責 專注參與活動的態度。

How to play 如何進行遊戲 1. The player who is the youngest can start the game and then all the other players take turn in a clockwise direction. 最小玩家開始本遊戲，其他玩家以順時鐘輪流。 2. The players should draw from the cards in six colors (red, blue, green, orange, yellow and purple) to decide the token’s color for the team. 玩家抽顏色卡決定代表色。 3. Each player (team, group) will be equipped with one set of writing tools, including an eraser, a marker, and a two sided whiteboard. 每組玩家都有一組書寫用具，包括：板擦、白 板筆、雙面小白板。 4. The player(s), the mission player(s), will roll the number dice to move forward. And then, the player(s) can roll the color dice to decide the mission to fulfill. 玩家丟數字骰子決定向前走的步數。之後，玩 家再丟顏色骰子來決定要完成哪一項任務。

How to play 如何進行遊戲 5. When the player(s) is / are the mission player(s), the coins the mission player(s) will get depend(s) on how many players get the coins during the round. That is to say, the mission player(s) should spare no efforts to read aloud the mission card carefully and clearly in order to help all the other players to get a coin. 任務玩家在執行任務的得分取決於該次任務 共有幾組玩家得分。如︰五組玩家得分，任務 玩家即得五分。因此，任務玩家會不遺餘力的 大聲且清楚的念出任務卡幫助其他玩家得分。 6. When any one of the players needs the mission player(s) to repeat once again, the mission player(s) should respond positively and patiently to the request. 當有任一玩家需要任務玩家再複誦一次任務 卡時，任務玩家必須積極且有耐心地回應。

End of the Game 遊戲結束 The player(s) must pass the finish line to end the game. The player(s) who can first pass the final line will get 10 coins. 玩家必須通過終點線才能結束遊戲。第一個通過 終點線的玩家可得 10分。 How to decide the winner? 如何決定贏家? As long as one of the players passes the finish line, the game is over. Every player has to count the collected coins to see who has the most coins. The player who has collected the most coins is the winner. 只要有其中一位玩家通過終點線遊戲即結束。每 個玩家必須清點累積的分數，累積分數最多的玩 家即是贏家。

Mission Cards 任務卡 Mission cards come in 6 colors, 90 mission cards in total. 任務卡共 6色，共 90張任務卡。 15 Red Mission Cards, Read a Poem. 15張紅色任務卡，讀一首藏頭詩。 15 Blue Mission Cards, Write a Poem. 15張藍色任務卡，寫一首藏頭詩。 15 Green Mission Cards, Guess a Riddle. 15張綠色任務卡，藏頭詩猜謎。 15 Orange Mission Cards, Guess a Country. 15張橘色任務卡，藏頭詩猜國家。 15 Yellow Mission Cards, Sing Aloud. 15張黃色任務卡，藏頭詩大聲唱。 15 Pink Mission Cards, Storybook Q& A. 15張粉紅色任務卡，藏頭詩繪本問答。

• 15 Red Mission Cards, Read a Poem: 15張紅色任務卡，讀一首藏頭詩。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Red Mission Cards, Guess a Riddle, to read aloud to the other players clearly. The other players can request to listen to the information once again. The other players need to write down their answers of the acrostic word and the rhyming sound on the whiteboard. If the player gets either one answer correctly, he/she can get one coin. If the player gets both of the answers correctly, he or she can get three coins. The coins the mission player(s) will get depend(s) on how many players get the coin(s) during the round. 玩家從 15張紅色任務卡(讀一首藏頭詩)翻選一張。對其 他玩家清楚大聲讀出。若聽不清楚時，其他玩家可以 要求再聽一次。其他玩家需要將藏頭詩的單字及韻腳 寫在白板上。答對一題得一分；兩題皆答對得三分。 任務玩家在執行任務的得分取決於該次任務共有幾組 玩家得分。

• 15 Blue Mission Cards, Write a Poem: 15張藍色任務卡，寫一首藏頭詩。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Blue Mission Cards, Write a Poem, to write a poem in a group with their writing tools (a marker, an eraser and a 2 -sided whiteboard). The mission player who can fulfill the mission can get a coin. The other players who can finish their poems faster than the mission player(s) in neat handwriting can also get a coin. 玩家從 15張藍色任務卡(寫一首藏頭詩)翻選一張，運用 書寫 具將任務完成。任務玩家寫完藏頭詩可得一分。 其他玩家完成藏頭詩的速度比任務玩家快也得一分。

• 15 Green Mission Cards, Guess a Riddle: 15張綠色任務卡，藏頭詩猜謎。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Green Mission Cards, Guess a Riddle, to read aloud to the other players clearly. The other players can request to listen to the information once again. The other players need to write down their answers of the acrostic word and the riddle answer on the whiteboard. If the player gets either one answer correctly, he/she can get one coin. If the player gets both of the answers correctly, he/she can get three coins. The coins the mission player(s) will get depend(s) on how many players get the coin(s) during the round. 玩家從 15張綠色任務卡(藏頭詩猜謎)翻選一張。對其他 玩家清楚大聲讀出。若聽不清楚時，其他玩家可以要 求再聽一次。其他玩家需要將藏頭詩的單字及謎底寫 在白板上。答對一題得一分；兩題皆答對得三分。任 務玩家在執行任務的得分取決於該次任務共有幾組玩 家得分。

• 15 Orange Mission Cards, Guess a Country: 15張橘色任務卡，藏頭詩猜國家。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Orange Mission Cards, Guess a Country, to read aloud to the other players clearly. The other players can request to listen to the information once again. The other players need to write down their answers of the acrostic word and the country on the whiteboard. If the player gets either one answer correctly, he/she can get one coin. If the player gets both the answer correctly, he/she can get three coins. • 15 Yellow Mission Cards, Sing Aloud: 15張黃色任務卡，藏頭詩大聲唱。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Yellow Mission Cards, Sing Aloud, to sing along to the other players clearly. If the player(s) is/ are not familiar with songs, he/she/they can sing the lyrics with his/her/ their familiar tunes. The other players can request to listen to the songs once again. The other players need to write down the acrostic word on the whiteboard. If the player gets the answer correctly, he/she can get one coin. The coins the mission player(s) will get depend(s) on how many players get the coin(s) during the round. 玩家從 15張黃色任務卡(藏頭詩大聲唱)翻選一張。對其 他玩家清楚大聲唱出。若聽不清楚時，其他玩家可以 要求再聽一次。其他玩家需要將藏頭詩的單字寫在白 板上。答對得一分。任務玩家在執行任務的得分取決 於該次任務共有幾組玩家得分。

• 15 Pink Mission Cards, Storybook Q & A 15張粉紅色任務卡，藏頭詩繪本問答。 The player(s) must flip one card from the Pink Mission Cards, Storybook Q & A, to read aloud to the other players clearly. The other players can request to listen to the information once again. The appointed player should select one of the guided questions to ask all the other players. The other players need to write down their answers of the acrostic word and the answer to the question on the whiteboard. If the player gets either one answer correctly, he/she can get one coin. If the player gets both of the answer correctly, he/she can get three coins. The coins the mission player(s) will get depend(s) on how many players get the coin(s) during the round. 玩家從 15張粉紅色任務卡(藏頭詩繪本問答)翻選一張。 對其他玩家清楚大聲讀出。任務玩家可從 3個引導問題 中挑選一個問題問其他玩家。其他玩家可以要求再聽一 次。其他玩家需要將藏頭詩的單字及問題答案寫在白板 上。答對一題得一分；兩題皆答對得三分。任務玩家在 執行任務的得分取決於該次任務共有幾組玩家得分。

Function Cards 功能卡 Function cards come in 6 different functions. 功能卡 6張 Every player has six different functions. He/ She can place two of them on the board at will in the beginning of the game. Every function card works for all the players during the game. 每個玩家有六張功能卡。在遊戲一開始，玩家可 任選兩張功能卡放在遊戲板上。每張功能卡在遊 戲進行中適用於所有玩家。 Variation 變化 When the function card of a certain player has been used, the player can replace the old function card with another new one on the game board. The player(s) can place the new function at will on the game board. 當該玩家的功能卡被任一玩家使用過後，玩家可 以用其他功能卡來取代舊的功能卡，並在遊戲板 上任何位置放上新的功能卡。

1. Footprint +3 : The function card means the player(s) should move 3 steps forward immediately. 腳印+3 : 代表立刻往前三步 2. Footprint -3 : The function card means the player(s) should move 3 steps backward immediately. 腳印-3 : 代表立刻往後三步 +3 -3

3. Take a breather : The player(s) must take a rest and lose a turn. It’s then the turn of the next player. Besides, the player(s) doesn’t/ don’t need to roll the color dice to fulfill the mission. 暫停一次 : 玩家必須休息一次。馬上輪到下一 個玩家。此外，不須丟顏色骰子執行任務。 4. Double the coins : The player(s) can double the collected coins after they fulfill the mission. 分數加倍 : 在玩家完成任務後分數加倍。

5. Bye-bye, Bomb : The player(s) will lose all the collected coins. 炸彈 : 玩家失去所有累積的分數。 6. Change of Money : The players can appoint any player(s) to exchange all the coins with. 分數交換 : 玩家可指定任一組玩家交換累積 的分數。
