SAU “PEOPLE & TECHNOLOGIES” Institute of Humanities, Social Sciences and Technologies Цель The establishment of the strategic academic unit "People and Technologies" aims to concentrate the world's best social, humanitarian and engineering practices for training a new generation of engineers able to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems with regard to the social, ethical, environmental and economic context Description of key areas of focus of the SAU, plans for its establishment/development: • • • Training unique specialists capable of offering efficient and innovative solutions to global social problems Development of methods to assess the impact of technological innovations on the improvement of the quality of life Development of a complex of socio-psychological, physical, engineering and information technology solutions to enhance integration of senior citizens and people with disabilities (people with special needs) into the society 5
