WHAT IS A HYBRID CARBURETOR? Hybrid Carburetor is simply a Tri Fuel Carburetor that enables you to use three types of fuel to power your Power Generator. This gives you the option to switch between three types of fuel, which are Gasoline or PMS (Premium Motor Spirit), popularly known as Petrol in Nigeria, and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) also known as Propane, or Cooking Gas. Generators running on propane are cleaner and emit less harmful fumes. Generators running on gasoline produce more odors and can stain or contaminate the surrounding surfaces. LPG, on the other hand is just gas and will dissipate as the generator runs.

ADVANTAGES OF RUNNING GENERATORS ON LPG ü Gas is cheaper and always available ü Gen noise/sound is reduced by up to 30% ü It's also eco-friendly. Generator stops smoking entirely ü Engine oil lasts longer before getting dirty or shorten ü Generator Servicing frequency is reduced ü Extended life of spark plugs and oil. (Spark Plugs for LPG generators last for at least 2 years before replacement)

ADVANTAGES OF RUNNING GENERATORS ON LPG ü Exhaust emissions contain less harmful substances when compared to petrol. ü The engine life is prolonged because of the absence of acids and carbon deposits ü No additives are required to guarantee high quality. ü Installation is as simple as ABC ü Hybrid carburetors consume less petrol, compared to your ‘follow come’ carburetors

COMPATIBILITY At the moment, available hybrid carburetors are not compatible with 'I better pass my Neighbour' (the smallest tiger generators), and generators with capacities above 10 kva. Yamaha and diesel generators are not compatible, too. However, we are working very hard to break these barriers and find solutions for all available generators

AVAILABLE SIZES The device comes in two sizes: Small one for 2 kva 3. 6 kva gen capacity and big one for 3. 8 kva -10 kva generators. We are expecting the ones for smaller generators soon…

WARRANTY We are the only authorized importers and distributors of original Potech Hybrid Carburetors. Although our carburetors have up to 6 yrs lifespan, we give 1 yr warranty + replacement spare parts in the unlikely event of damage to any part of the product

INSTALLERS WANTED We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Accredited Installers whose contact details are published and sent customers within their location, for professional installation of our hybrid carburetors. Installers are currently paid N 5, 000 per installation, and yet we have 100 times more customers than available installers. Accredited Installers also get min of N 2, 000 discount per product and serve as sub distributors.

INSTALLERS WANTED Installers are encouraged to patiently learn every aspect of the carburetor installation, and if possible, attach themselves to regular generator mechanics for a period of one month or thereabouts, in order to learn basics and workings of power generators, for better understanding and adequate experience

BUSINESS PORTENTIALS Our Hybrid Carburetors are now more available across Nigeria, and gaining acceptance from Nigerians – rapidly. On average, installers can install between 2 – 10 or even more carburetors in a day, meaning that you can earn between N 10, 000 – N 50, 000 daily, if you promote yourself and the product very well. Even if you do only two installations per day @ N 5, 000 each, you’ll earn average of N 200, 000 monthly, if you work for only 20 days in a month Related opportunities include venturing into sales of accessories such as cylinders, regulators, hose, clips and gas…

INSTALLER PRICES N 18, 000 for small one (2 kva - 3. 6 kva) and N 23, 000 for big one (3. 8 kva - 10 kva). Installers are allowed to buy as little as one unit, while retaining the power to upgrade to independent or sole distributor

DISTRIBUTOR PRICES We have two levels of Distributorship. INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTOR N 17, 000 for small one (2 kva - 3. 6 kva) and N 22, 000 for big one (3. 8 kva - 10 kva). Independent distributors must buy average of N 200, 000 worth of goods on first purchase, and have no exclusive rights to any location, but can upgrade to sole distributor

SAFETY CONCERNS

SAFETY TIPS ü Always buy LPG cylinders from reliable and reputable companies ü Check that the cylinder has been delivered with the company seal safety cap intact ü Disconnect regulator and affix safety cap when your gen or cooker is not in use for prolonged period ü Cylinders should be stored in a well-ventilated space and away from possible sources of ignition, excess heat ü Check for gas leaks regularly by applying soap solution on cylinder joints. The appearance of soap bubbles indicates leak points ü Always replace worn-out or defective tubing and regulators. Half of all cooking gas-related accidents occur due to leakages from the rubber tube. ü Never tamper with your LPG cylinder or improvise them, for any reasons ü Avoid the temptation trying to save cost and buy very old or cylinders ü If cylinder is leaking, and the valve cannot be closed, call the fire brigade, police or gas dealer immediately
