Installing Live. Print After ordering, the Live. Print software will be available for download at the start page of the service. Press Open to open a program that will unpack the files you have downloaded. See the screen snapshot below. Then double-click on Setup_Live. Print. exe. www. unifaun. com 2

Select the language for the installation. The window shown below opens. Click Next and follow the instructions. The installation of Live. Print is completed with the window below. Click on Finish to close the installation and start Live. Print www. unifaun. com 3

The following screen is displayed. Click OK to continue to the settings in Live. Print. www. unifaun. com 4

Setting up Live. Print When Live. Print is started, the following screen is displayed. www. unifaun. com 5

1. The first setting is the type of printer you are using: • Zebra printer with the ZPL language is the most usual printer from Zebra. For example, a Zebra 2844 -Z. • Zebra printer with the EPL language is less usual and is used only in Norway. For example, a Zebra 2844. • Label printer via a Windows driver (NOT USED). • Windows printer (label sheets) (NOT USED). • Windows printer (PDF label sheets). Select this if you intend to use a laser printer for printing out the labels. 2. Once you have selected your printer type, you need to select what type of label you have. Look at the images and highlight the one you have. If you have selected the type Windows printer (PDF label sheets), leave this section blank. www. unifaun. com 6

3. Select the printer for printing out the labels. If you are going to print out the labels on a Zebra printer, it must be installed as a Generic Text Only printer. If you do not have that installed, select “Create Live. Print Label Printer (Generic / Text Only)”, then select the port on the computer to which the printer is connected. Once this is done, the printer is created automatically. If the right printer is already installed, select the one to be used for labels. 4. Ordinary printer is the printer used for printing other documents such as consignment notes. Select here a printer that prints out on A 4 paper. www. unifaun. com 7

5. Click on OK and the next screen is displayed. If you have selected Windows printer (PDF label sheets), this screen is not displayed. 6. Click on Download to printer in order to download all the icons to the printer. The icons must already be downloaded to the printer for the labels to have the right appearance. This only happens if you have selected a Zebra printer as the label printer www. unifaun. com 8

7. If you want to verify which icons have been downloaded to the printer, click on Print directory list. This can only be done if you have selected a Zebra printer as the label printer. 8. Click on Exit to close the settings. The following screen is displayed. All the settings in Live. Print are now complete, and you can close the program. www. unifaun. com 9

Settings in the service When you order Live. Print you have, under the settings for all users, a settings option for Live. Print, see below. You must log out of the service and in again in order to see this setting, once you have ordered it. Click in the box for Live. Print in order to activate the service for the user. If you have several users, this setting must be made for each user who will be using Live. Print. In the box marked Printer, you select what type of printer you have. • zpl. Printer = Zebra printer with the ZPL printer language. For example the Zebra 2844 -Z. • epl. Printer = Zebra printer with the EPL printer language. For example the Zebra 2844. NOTE! Used only in Norway. • Form-frm. Printer= Laser printer for printing out on A 4 sheets. Once you have clicked in the box and chosen the Printer, click on Save at the bottom right hand side. Then log out and in again so that all the settings are correctly activated. www. unifaun. com 10

Now Adobe Reader will not be displayed the next time you press on any of the Print Out buttons. The first time after activating Live. Print and pressing on Print , the screen below will be displayed. NOTE! This box may look different, depending on the type of web browser you are using. Remove the checkmark in front of Always warn before files of this type are opened. Then this box will not be opened the next time you press Print. www. unifaun. com 11

Technical description Communications The communication between the Live. Print is done via http (port 80) or https (port 443) Microsoft Win. Inet API is used for communication.
