Installation instructions for your new FFC Lower Control Arms w/o factory ABS • Please follow the instructions to ensure proper fitment of the lower control arms. • • Tool required: 17 mm box wrench 17 mm socket (deep and shallow) Ratchet extensions Hammer Prey bar or large screwdriver Liquid penetrator of some sort (ie: PB Blaster, WD 40, etc…)

Step 1: Park Vehicle on a level surface Step 2: Loosen the lugs on

Step 1: Park Vehicle on a level surface Step 2: Loosen the lugs on the rear wheels Step 3: Raise the rear of the vehicle and support with jack stands Step 4: Remove the wheels Step 5: Loosen the DRIVERS rear lower knuckle nut and bolt (do not remove the bolt at this time) (see photo 1)

Step 6: Loosen 17 mm bolt located in the rear sub frame (see photo

Step 6: Loosen 17 mm bolt located in the rear sub frame (see photo 2) Step 7: Now remove the nut and bolt that you loosen in the rear knuckle Step 8: Remove the rear sub frame bolt (be careful as the stock arm may fall down) Step 9: You are now ready to install your new FFC lower control arms. Step 10: Start by loosely installing the knuckle nut and bolt through the lower control arm (you may need to hammer that bolt to slide through the lower control arm, see step 10 a)

Step 10 a: Shown knuckle bolt being hammered in, if needed Step 11: Swing the FFC lower control arm up into the factory rear sub frame and install the factory bolt (don’t forget to re-install any lower tie bar that would have been removed in Step 8)

Step 12: You may need tap the new lower control arm into the sub

Step 12: You may need tap the new lower control arm into the sub frame. Once you get everything lined up and the bolt in the hole, you may also need to pry the arm to align the bolt with the sub frame hole.

Step 13: Tighten the bolts that were removed to install the new lower control

Step 13: Tighten the bolts that were removed to install the new lower control arms to Honda’s factory specs. Step 14: Once everything is installed and tightened up it should look like this on the DRIVER’S side

Step 15: Installation of the PASSENGER side lower control arm begins the same as

Step 15: Installation of the PASSENGER side lower control arm begins the same as the driver’s side. After you have loosened both bolts you will need to follow from step 16 on. Step 16: You will need to remove 3 exhaust hangers and lower the rear section of the exhaust. Step 17: Support exhaust with jack stand or jack

Step 18: Complete the lower control arm on the PASSENGER side. Step 19: Reinstall

Step 18: Complete the lower control arm on the PASSENGER side. Step 19: Reinstall exhaust hangers that were removed in step 16. (*you may need to jack up the rear trailing arm to have clearance between your new FFC lower control and your exhaust system. During full suspension droop, the lower control arm may rest on your exhaust system. This normal and will not effect suspension travel when the car is on the ground. ) Step 20: Double check that everything is torque to factory specs Step 21: Reinstall your wheel and torque to manufacture specs Step 22: Double check all bolts after 500 miles of driving. Step 23: Enjoy your new FFC Lower Control Arms
