Inspiration The power of emotion Being a realist
Inspiration The power of emotion.
Being a realist A realist is defined as someone who prefers to look at something or a situation the way it is. Someone who can use reason or logic to explain or handle things in a practical manner. I tend to see myself as a realist most times. This makes it hard for me to pay attention to emotions.
On emotion Anything that has the power to evoke emotion is an inspiration for me to attempt to appeal to others in the same way. It is these emotions that inspire me to write. Makes me want to create something to inspire the same emotions. Although I haven't yet figured out how to write like that yet I have found what I want write about, by simply looking at the topic that appeals to my emotions more than anything else.
Serial Killers I have found that in both reading and researching serial killers, real people who have done the unimaginable, drives my emotional state up a wall. It angers, upsets, confuses, and fascinates me. It’s a subject in which I’m passionate about. I may be a little too consumed with the darker parts of the human mind. Perhaps so much so that it’s reached a point past being socially acceptable. But when I read about one of these people I get a lump in my throat and this indescribable feeling.
We all go a little mad sometimes. . .
Passion can be defined by a strong and barely controllable emotion. Each and everyone of us will try something to bring out some sort of feeling. Everything has the ability to make us feel something.
My prompt to you It is this passion that inspires me to write. I think maybe it’s time I create my own serial killers. My prompt would be to take something real. Something you can learn about. But more importantly something that makes you have any sort of strong feeling and expand on this by trying to write something so that when others read it, they feel something.
