Snoo. CODE - - Founded in 2011 by Ghanaian Sesinam Dagadu Problem: lack of formal addresses → inefficient ambulance services, weak postal / food delivery systems. A free mobile app that generates a 6 or 7 -digit alphanumeric geolocation code for every property in Ghana - 200 x more precise than a UK post code or a US Zip Code! Allows for quick and accurate address saving, sharing and navigating Socially inclusive: abc’s and 123’s. Works without internet connection. Creates new delivery job opportunities
- Collaboration between Snoo. CODE, the Vodafone Ghana Foundation, and the Ghana National Ambulance Service. Individuals can communicate their code to to emergency services via a call or text message. Ambulances can more easily find them. Goal: save lives by improving response time, change negative perceptions of emergency service

The Tutu Tester Van - Mobile clinic that provides HIV testing along with contraception education as well as screenings for more common diseases such as diabetes and hypertension to reduce stigma and protect privacy - Founded in 2008 by the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation - Approaches HIV as a chronic and treatable condition - Offers testing with greater convenience than traditional clinics
The Tutu Tester Van - The van reaches underserved regions of South Africa with high HIV prevalence - Facilitates first time and repeat HIV testing so South Africans are aware of their status - Private testing with individualised counselling and access to follow-up care - On average 40 -60 people are screened daily - ⅕ of South Africans between 15 -49 are HIV positive - Stays open after school/work hours - important for young women seeking contraception
