Introduction of Infrared Sensor • Light sensor calculates the intensity of light falling on it. • It measures intensity in the form of lumens • It can detects ambient light falling on it and converts it into decimals • A Light Sensor is something that a robot can use to detect the current • ambient light level - i. e. how bright/dark it is Examples are automatic street light, Tunnel lights, etc

Working Principle • As light sensor measures intensity in the form of lumens , when brightness of light in the surrounding increases the light sensor intensity is also increases and when brightness decreases , the light sensor intensity value is also decreases • So it is easy for light sensor to detect brightness or darkness of light
