Can I use my summer fellowship funding at UF? • Sort of. • If you are on fellowship at UF, you need to register for eight hours graduate credit at UF. You should register for (part of) those hours as an independent study with someone in your department. • Then you may use your stipend to pay for the Program Scholar tuition at ICPSR.

UM Survey Research Center Summer Institute • Not part of ICPSR! • June 1 - July 24 in Ann Arbor • Roughly, SRC can teach you how to design and • conduct a survey, and ICPSR can teach you to analyze and interpret the data (as well as nonsurvey data). While the two programs complement each other nicely, and while they are both under the auspices of the University of Michigan's ISR, they are not linked in any way. You cannot use ICPSR source funds (eg. , Clogg or Miller scholarship) for the SRC program.
