HISTORY MAKERS People have long been gathering behind campaigns to achieve specific social justice aims. For example: the suffragette movement and Martin Luther King’s non violent rallies. These campaigns saw people gathered together behind a cause, using powerful language on placards with slogans and physical space to gather momentum and support. Social media takes this gathering to a virtual space and connects people all over the world.
